One track on the second day (Dec. 13) of this year’s TRON Symposium is dedicated to Smart Cities. The track offers English-Japanese simultaneous translation in both directions. The morning session is dedicated to Tokyo: With the participation of Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike, it will be discussed how the Tokyo metropolitan government is actively utilizing ICT such as IoT, AI, open data etc. in light of the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, to make Tokyo a smarter city, both for its residents as well as visitors.
The afternoon session is dedicated to the other city partners of CPaaS.io: Amsterdam, Murcia, Sapporo, Yokosuka, and Zurich. City representatives will present their current activities and strategy, sharing their experiences how to create public value. Martin Brynskov from Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC) will present how OASC can help cities. And finally we will open up for a one hour panel discussion, in order to exchange ideas between the cities and enable discussions also with the audience.
