FogFlow approved as a new FIWARE GE

At the recent FIWARE Summit in Malaga, NEC gave a presentation on FogFlow, a new component that has been developed in the context of CPaaS.io. FogFlow is a cloud-edge orchestrator to orchestrate dynamic NGSI-based data processing flows on-demand between producers and consumers for providing timely results to make fast actions, based on context (system context and data context). It enables defining tasks with the help of a graphical editor, and then flexibly assign the task execution to the cloud or to edge devices.

Importantly, FogFlow has now been approved as an official FIWARE Generic Enabler (GE). This is a significant contribution of the CPaaS.io project to the FIWARE platform and to Smart Cities.
